Would you say that corporate law is a recession-proof job?

by recession proof business on July 19, 2010

I am a freshman in college right now, but not happy about the state of the economy.

I know the nursing and education are recession-proof jobs, but my strengths lie in economics and english and more analytical fields; I don’t like children.

I wouldn’t say it is recession proof for the fact that any field which offers a lucrative salary can become flooded. So if this area of law becomes a prominent money maker, many attorneys might start to gain competency or specialization in it. This would, in a sense, flood the market and by doing so drive down salaries and limit job opportunities.

There are no jobs that are truly recession proof due to this.

Recession effect all sectors of the economy. The administration and the corporate world must find ways to overcome all such challenges like obstacles, problems, conerns and even divine intervention in order to nurse the economy back to health.
